MUS 450 Culminating Experience in Music
The Culminating Experience in Music is offered as an independent study, with mentoring from a Music faculty member. Senior students pursuing a B.A. in Music degree may enroll in
MUS 450 to fulfill both their Music Capstone Requirement, and their Spartan Studies Culminating Experience requirement. In addition to demonstrating upper-level understanding of music, student work must reference theories or methodologies from the natural sciences or social sciences. Student work must include two products in two different forms from the list: written, oral, or multimodal. Students must also complete a pre-reflection and post-reflection essay.
